August 3: Letting go, opening up
Wisdom nr 2: Letting go, opening up. Buddha nature (or if you prefer: the nature of Christ) is to let go of the mechanical, egotistic behaviour in you that desires controll and productivity. Today a couple of events confronted my need of controll and the desire to keep. I must practice pure love, which begins in the letting-go-opening-up movement in your soul that makes you transparent and still dense of life. Invite your friends. Give away the coins in your pocket and lend out your cell phone. Don’t worry. You didn’t these things when you were born. You won’t need them when you pass away, so why do you really need them right now? As soon as I went to sleep, I started to panic: I couldn’t find my wallet. Once again materiality proved its presence in me.
Wisdom nr 3: Everything begins in your breath. Breathing is the first and last thing you’ll do in life. The breathing body is the mirror of the breathing universe. And still, what I am lacking most of is breath. So I must learn how to breathe. I must start all over, from the beginning.
